I've got some suggestions for you , Please tell me what you think.
1. Isn't it time for setting up some forum groups?
Here are my group suggestions.
Admin -
RedDeveloper -
BlueSuper GM(If used) -
BrownStaff (Including: GM's - Graphic Designers - Forum moderators - Testers ) -
GreenIntern -
Orange2. Put in the current ForgottenStory banner that Ellin made, would look much better : P
If the forum banner doesn't fit to the forum skin, maybe change it?
3. Change Introduce yourself to "Hello and Goodbies" so people can tell us when they leave or join the server.
4. Maybe someone can make some Forum stuff to put in the skin? Example:
New post in section:
Old:
Locked thread/section:
and so on.
The pictures was just an example to show you what i meant.
5. Advertisement on Ragezone. If it's already done then forget this suggestion
6. Vote for NX, As i know most players doesn't really wanna vote because you get nothing for it so i suggest that we add a Vote for NX system to make the players wanna vote for a reward.
Example of vote for NX system: Put a Vote section in the CMS and when you go there , You will have to type in your Account name and the system will check your IP and account if you have voted the past 12hours and if its 12hours since you voted then it will allow you to vote again and gain your NX. (5,000k nx)
Or.. maybe you should add "Vote for NX" in Control panel when you login and let you vote without putting in your account name because you're logged in.
Or you can do something different and make a vote points system and vote IG and get your reward from @gainNX (Or something like that.)
More detailed information:
Commands:
@gainNX - Checks for your vote points and if you got 1 vote point it removes that vote point from you and gives you automaticly 5,000NX.
@votepoints - Checks your current amount of vote points.
So basicly, You vote on the site and gain +1 vote points and go IG and claim the 5,000NX by a command, OR maybe you have to do a Quest and when it's done you get the 5,000NX reward.
-Quest information-
If you liked the Quest thingy i said, Then i'll tell you my suggestion on that too.
Maybe you should have to kill 10 zakum's, Horntails, Or something. But then the new players have to train alot and get stronger to claim their rewards, I think it's an good idea though.

7. -Achievements-
This achievements won't be easy to reach, that's what makes it fun for the players.
My ideas: Maybe you should put in an achievement when a player has reached alot of reborns (10-50-100-250-500-1000) or even more, Also when a player recieves a very powerfull and special/rare item(Example: Event items). Also achievements when you recieve an SRB item. (1 srb item - 2 srb items - 3 - 4 - 5 - 10) and an achievement when you have completed a CUSTOM QUEST (If it exists or will exist) or else.. killed like 1000zakum - 1000 horntail, etc.
8. -Forum ranks-
We should use forum ranks to tell what the player is.
My ideas:
Owner
Administrator
Web Developer
Developer
Super GM(If used)
Game Master
Intern
Forum moderator
Graphic Designer
Tester(If used)
Donator
9. -Custom Quests-
My idea here is to add some Custom Quests and the NPC will say what difficulty the Quest is. Example:
Easy -
Medium -
Hard -
Expert.
And of course Easy won't have the same reward as Medium - Hard - Expert, because that wouldn't be fair.
Also it should be a list on the forum of the Quests and their names and the Quest difficulty but NOT location.
Example: Quest nr.1 - Help the lost man -
EasyPlayers will have to find the Quest NPC's themselves and no one can tell them except the players who already knows it.
10. Information NPC
This NPC will be placed in FM or a good spot in Henesys.
My idea here is to make a Information NPC that tells EVERYTHING about the server , I think the players will like this.
So this is how i think the NPC should be :
"Hello there, I am the information NPC of ForgottenStory."
(SECTION) Server information
(SECTION) Upcoming updates
(SECTION) Available Quests
(SECTION) Shops
(SECTION) Achievements
-(SECTION) Server Information
when you select Server Information then it will come up 3 options to click. (Server rates, Server Features, Current revision.)
If you click Server Rates, The NPC will tell you the rates.
If you click the Server Features, The NPC will tell you the Server Features
If you click the Current Revision, The NPC will tell you the what the current revision is
-(SECTION) Upcoming updates
When you select Upcoming updates then it will come up some options to choose, That will be the current systems/new features that's coming to ForgottenStory. Example:
There's 3 options(Fantasy):
New Job
Custom WZ
New achievements
If you choose New Job, then it will come up information about that job.
-(SECTION) Available Quests
When you select Available Quests, The NPC will give you information about the current Quests.
Just a simple list like this:
"Here are the current Available Quests!"
Quest nr.1 - Help the lost man - Easy
Quest nr.2 - QUEST NAME - DIFFICULTY
And so on.
-(SECTION) Shops
When you select Shops, The NPC will give you information about the current shops.
The NPC will just open a list with this in:
"Here are the current shops of ForgottenStory!"
-SHOP NAME - NPC - LOCATION
and so on.
-(SECTION) Achievements
When you select Achievements, The NPC will give you information about the current Achievements.
The NPC will just open a list with this in:
"Here are the current Achievements of ForgottenStory!"
ACHIEVEMENT NR1 - REWARD
and so on.
This is what i got for now.
